To even start affiliating you first need to have traffic that buy.And i am talking about having a thousand of traffic.And make your traffic be your subscribers and subscribers to customers.Do not stop gaining customers on your blog try to search from forum.Mostly,international customers are good for you to generate income compared to the local ones.Locals
What i mean by locals is for example Singapore.To be honest Singapore have only 20% of people who make money online by just blogging.Some do not even believe about making money online.They will thing it will be a scam.Because they believe that internet is not safe to make money.Locals are not the one you want to make money online with.
International
By International means,for example,United State.Their country is more to investment.Their populations are more as compared to the locals.By attracting Internationally,you are ready to earn a minimum of S$100k+ just by selling it to the International.
There are a certain trust level that you need to make them believe in you and your blog to make them buy what you are affiliating to them.Remember,without traffic your blog will die and you are wasting your time.

Warrior Forum
They have the largest traffic around 500k+ traffic posting a new topic.Each day they have a published post topic around 50k+.If you include in a great keyword that make them click and visit your blog.your blog will be fame online.
Money Maker Group
They are still growing in populations and currently having a traffic around 50k+.Each day post topic are around 50k+.Always start with the one who have big in traffic and populations.
